About Steven Leigh Builders
I literally got into this business by accident. When I was in high school I became interested in Architecture, and had planned to go to Architectural School, but my family had other plans for me so I ended up in a business school, and then in the business world. After a few years of managing commercial properties and dealing with other people's bad design and construction, I started out on my own, with no plan other than to buy a piece of land and build a house. During that job, potential clients, brokers, and architects stopped by and we began bidding work. The rest is history.
We really don't have a preset formula. We've taken on projects as small as 2,500 square feet, and we've built homes as big as 45,000 square feet. We've done small home renovations, and large-scale multi-building compounds. Sites we've worked on run the gamut from under an acre to over fifty acres. We have completed homes in under 90 days, and worked on projects that have taken many years to complete. We're very flexible. All we ask for are truly motivated clients with a sincere desire to create and inspire.
